The Office of Education Standards and the Early Childhood Care and Education Unit are pleased to announce their upcoming learning event, Inspiring Progress, Raising Standards, focused on the new early childhood inspection framework. Scheduled to take place on Friday 31 May 2024, the learning event will serve as a platform for early childhood educators, leaders, managers, owners and key stakeholders to come together and engage in meaningful sharing of best practice related to aspects of the early childhood inspection framework, First Steps to Success: Nurturing Environments and Thriving Children.
Presentations by local educators will feature topics, such as:
- Quality Indicator 4.1 - Integrating Caymanian culture and heritage in the early childhood curriculum
- Quality Indicator 5.2 - Relationships and support for developing children's self-regulation
- Quality Indicator 3.3 - Assessment and moderation in early childhood
- Quality Indicator 6.4 - Creating stimulating and exciting learning environments indoors and outdoors
- Plus many more!
The learning event will also include Feature Presentations from regional and international early childhood education professionals.
